課程重點

This course features an image gallery that illustrates and supports lecture topics ranging from "The End of Prosperity" to "Legacies for Postwar America." In addition a a detailed timeline of key events is available in the study materials section and a comprehensive set of related links in support of course readings and discussions are available.

課程描述

The Great Depression and World War II permanently changed American politics and society. Topics include: the Great Crash, the New Deal, Roosevelt, the home front, the Normandy Invasion, and the atomic bomb. Explores those events through film, novels, newspapers, and other historical documents.
