Using McAfee
Boot into Windows.
When you launch Windows, McAfee will show that it is running in the system tray.
Right-click the system tray icon and select "VirusScan Console" to launch the application in a windows.
From the console you can update your virus definitions or run an "on demand" scan.
You can modify a pre-defined scan by right-clicking it and seleting "Properties".
Click "Edit" to change the drives or folders you wish to scan.
Scan a file or folder "on demand" by clicking on the "Run" button in the Console window.
A progress window will indicate your scan status.
When it is finished, it will indicate whether or not you have a virus.
If viruses are detected, they are listed.
You have the option to "Clean", "Delete", or "Move" the infected file(s).
