I am grateful to be one of these dreamers and doers for one focused goal¡Ðmaking the world better by sharing and broadcasting knowledge¡Kfor free. I am from Taipei and now working as a marketing assistant at Intel Taiwan. It's kind of interesting to be multi-status. Before sunset, I work to make my life better, after sunset, I work for making the world better. OOPS is an opensource-concept-based project that has attracted thousands of volunteers around the world. The trend of opensource campaign has made tremendous influence among education, entertainment, IT industry, and modern civilization as well. Opensource might never take the place of commercial products, but it provides more available choices, even better choices for free. One of the best things about OOPS is the peer-to-peer networking. I have met so many nice people through working on this project. As an OOPSer, you may find yourself working along with other volunteers with extremely diverse background. For me, this is the coolest thing in OOPS.¡@
¡@ I will never forget the day that I installed Linux operating system into our first sponsored professional server by National Central University in Chun-Li City, Taiwan. It took me all afternoon to install the system and work it out. Even though the long working hours made me very tired at that moment, but I just couldn¡¦t stop imaging the impact it will generate afterward. In OOPS, it's quite common to experience this kind of excitement.
