Reading Assignment and Trip Report Description

Read "The U.S. Department of Defense Humanitarian Demining Training Center: A Center of Excellence" and review the Web site "Humanitarian Demining Training Center". Generate a list of questions you want to answer during the trip and bring it with you. You will be asked to write a trip report including things you learned. Pre-read assignment #8 for more details on what will be expected so you can take notes and document the trip appropriately.

Things to Pack

• Government issue photo ID
• Printout of this sheet with flights and emergency contact numbers
• Warm work clothes, we will be outside and digging in the dirt all day on Friday. Bring many layers and waterproof clothing, boots, and a change of clothing.
• Cameras are permitted on this part of the base
• Notebook and list of questions
